Working With Us
Introduction
Working in any of the projects EMERGENCY USA supports means bringing specialized, free-of-charge medical assistance to victims of war and poverty.
Beyond offering their professional expertise in daily work, on-the-field professionals are asked to provide training and supervision to the local foreign staff.
Necessary prerequisites for fieldwork
- Relevant professional experience.
- Availability to live abroad for 3 - 6 consecutive months, depending on the professional profile and needs.
- Good working knowledge of the English language.
General Prerequisites
- Flexibility and ability to work within a team under stressful conditions
- Ability to adapt to clinical and operative working protocols
- Sense of discipline and respect for the safety rules outlined by the organization
- Respect of local cultures and traditions
Finances
Salary, travel expenses, room, board and insurance for all on-field professionals are provided by EMERGENCY Italy.
